Who’s ready to get stoned?  Before you get to excited, check your local supply and laws.  Just a little joke for my California people.  I’ve been reading some stuff about Stone brewery this week and want to sip some of their stuff.  It shouldn’t be too hard for anyone to find Stone’s Pale Ale.  We hope that you can sip with us on Saturday.  One more thing; we’ll be posting some cool information about Stone as a brewery when we do our review.  Meanwhile, here are the vital stats for the beer.

Stone Pale Ale Our flagship ale, Stone Pale Ale is our Southern California interpretation of the classic British pale ale style. Deep amber in color, Stone Pale Ale is robust and full flavored. A delicate hop aroma is complemented by a rich maltiness. This is an ale for those who have learned to appreciate distinctive flavor. Stone Pale Ale is great by itself, or with food that requires a beer of character. 1st Release Date: July, 1996 Alc.Vol.: 5.4% IBUs: 41 Hop Variety: Magnum and Ahtanum

   Ok, so if I agree to drink this beer and get “stoned,” I am not going to fail my next random drug test, am I?

   I’ll see if I can find a sixer at my local beer store.

   I don’t think you’ll fail…unless you drink it right before. You may move more toward becoming an “Arrogant Bastard” though.

   Seriously, I just picked up a sixer of Stone Pale Ale. It’s chilling in my Manland fridge and I’ll be sure to capture the first pour tomorrow in HD for a video!
