I know what you mean, Howard. I’ll drink a Bad Elmer’s Porter or something like that once in a while, but I’m not dying to have one. As far as this beer goes, Rich’s review is enough for me to doubt some of its merits. I’ve been disappointed by some of their stuff, too.

I completely ignore everything that Upland releases except the Lambics. I find most of their stuff to be average, if not boring. Every once in a while people get me fired up about some seasonal release, then I’m just let down again. It’s not that they make bad beer, it’s just unremarkable. I haven’t had Teddy Bear Kisses yet, but I’m going to sit this one out on principle.

Nice review, Rich…it’s good to hear from you on the site. I have yet to sample an Upland brew. Perhaps I’ll pick some up at DarkLord 2010.
