I’m still in a Belgian phase…love ‘em. Had Gulden Draak this summer for the first time and was not dissapointed.

I last had Gulden Draak when I was going through a big Belgian phase, and I remember it just as you describe, Nate. It’s a terrific beer and stands out in a category full of great brews. I think world class is a great way to describe it.

I think World Class is also a great way to describe you as a husband. Waiting for your wife to be able to share with you is quite a class move.

I just had the Gulden Draek for the first time tonight actually. Picked up on the apples on the tongue immediately. Very pleasant beer for a belgian.
