With summer wrapping up, we thought we could go out with a refreshing finish. This beer is sure to conjure up all the summer moments that were pleasing and lethargic. Most all of us have had Blue Moon here in the US but many of us have not yet tried the original gangster of the style. Hoegaarden is simply a wonderfully fresh beer. Pick up a six pack and sip with us Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Half of mine will be gone tomorrow.

Ah … Hoegaarden. Great beer. I’ll pick some up, Mike, Thanks.
BTW: I wasn’t able to find last week’s SWUS. They had everything Ayinger BUT Brau weisse.

I must confess that I had to do some of the beer from memory. In fact, I picked up the Ur-Weisse to drink. I’m glad that Nate was around on this one. I know that Hoegaarden is one everyone can find. That really is the hard thing about this SWS…there aren’t a lot of breweries that we can find everywhere.

Yeah, I only found the Ur Weisse as well. I agree that it’s hard to find a beer that most can find. Hoegaarden is a good one, though!

Great choice! Hoegaarden was the first I had of that style, perhaps not my favorite now, but still a super beer.
