We love beer, we thank heaven. Begrudgingly, we admit we are not the authority on all things "beer," but we know our fair share. Enjoy the good brew with us; correct us where we're wrong.

Good post. Sad commentary. People don't want to be responsible for themselves anymore. They'd much rather give more and more control of their lives to the 'authorities' who gleefully do their best protecting people from themselves. Its sadly what people want. I think the UK is well down the wrong path in that regard, and we're not too far off ourselves.

Isn't this what parents are for? To teach their kids how to be reasonable, balanced adults that understand risk and reward, crime and consequence? I know this is a fairly generic argument, but that's because it's true.

Brewers have a responsibility to make their products safe to drink and clearly labeled. They should also encourage responsible drinking, but it's not mandatory. There's a reason the drinking age is 21 in this country. Maybe it needs to be changed to 45?
