Skullsplitter is a very good beer. Alas, poor Yorick, I knew him well. I couldn’t help but make a Hamlet reference. If you are into malty, somewhat sweet, and heavy Scottish Ales then you really need to give this a try. I’m not posting too much about the beer because you just have to taste this for yourself. I simply want to mention that we’ve tried one other beer by this company on the site. Red MacGregor is another one to try. The beer that we are drinking on Saturday is a Wee Heavy version of Scottish Ale. If you are interested in what that means, check out our article on Scottish Ale. Please join us Friday for a very good beer.

I’ve had this one and I think you actually commented on it awhile back when I wrote about it. I just love the cheesy looking viking.

Yes! I remember that. It’s up there with “Old Leg Humper’s” label. Both are good beers; I guess you can’t judge a book by it’s cover.

I just drank this for the site a little bit ago. Look for a review tomorrow.
