This Friday we will be drink a little bit of history…Thomas Hardy’s Ale.
The great thing about this beer, is that it has been aged already. For most of us we’ll br drinking the 2005 editions. Perhaps some money-bags out there will find the 1968 edition and humiliate us all.
I have never tried this beer…namely because it costs 20 bucks for a four pack of 7.5 ounce bottles, but after splitting the costs with some guys at the office, I am up for it. Be prepared…this is no guzzling/thirst quenching beer. I tend on milking mine for a good hour. Thomas Hardy’s carries an ABV of 11.9%, so please, take your time. The history of this old style ale is fascinating. I suggest you check out the links below so you can sufficiently appreciate the brew! Don’t miss out on this one as it is one of the most unique brews we’ve tried to date.
