After a long and serious talk, Mike and I both realized that our health is suffering: our cholesterol is too high. Since we both want to be around not only to open a brewery, but also to see our grandkids working at said brewery, some changes were necessary. According to the American Cancer Society a cup of otameal a day not only fights cancer but lowers cholesterol.
That being said, in choosing a beer this week, we settled upon Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout for our health benefit and yours.
Sam Smith’s Oatmeal Stout has always been well received by the craft beer community and rarely lets the beer geek down. With an ABV of 5%, having a few is not a problem. It is a moderately complex beer, that I have found paris great with just about anything, from pizza, to italian food, to gormet salads, to Mahi Mahi. Pick it up an sip with us this Saturday!
Awesome! I actually have this in my fridge! :-0 How great would it be if it were found this had the same benefits as regular oatmeal?

Good! I guess it won’t be hard to find then. It would be awesome if they found the same benefits. Of course, we know about the heart and antioxidants already, so we know it’s good.

One of my all time favs!

This is a classic for sure. The fact that it lowers your cholesterol and is appropriate for breakfast makes it even better. Imagine how good this would be for you poured over Cheerios!
