I don’t know about you, dear reader, but in my neck of the woods, winter has nested in an set up his home for the next several months. The older I get, the less I like cold things, including my beer. While proper serving temperature varies depending on the type of beer, it should never be served below 40°; in fact, most ales and amber/dark lagers should be between 50° and 55°. But I digress…
To cure my winter blues (and hopefully yours) for this week’s Drink With Us Friday, we are going to stray from the seasonal beers we’ve been focusing on cheer ourselves up with a summer brew and sip on a Victory’s Prima Pilsner. This award winning beer is a nice light brew, true to traditional pilsner flavor. The Prima Pilsner is a pale lager, hopped up using Czech and German flowers. Light, dry, with a bit of a bite this ought to soothe your (my) winter blues.
Prima Pilsner is sold year round and should be sold pretty much anywhere in the US (unless you live in a dry county, in which case I suggest you consider either moving or lobbying town hall). Anyway, we’re looking forward to drinking with you this Friday. Cheers!
