Thanks again for all of the responses to this great post. Sorry for the late reply … I was on vacation up in Michigan. (And you can bet I sampled a bunch of great beers, including Bell’s, New Glarus, and Goose Island.)

At any rate, looking forward to continuing my brewing adventure. I’m sampling my home brew again after two weeks of bottle conditioning this weekend.

@ Both. The beer does look pretty damn good. I’d say that’s a successful first effort and I know that he’s going to be making some good stuff. Scott does have one of the best looking sites, pics, and videos out there.

You are welcome and I’m just happy you are brewing. Also, you shared it with me which is gratifying. I guess you could call it a “feel good story”…that’s something I like. Plus, I like to share what has happened from site interaction and people’s growth.

Wow! I am humbled that you’ve posted this Mike! Thanks so much for your guidance over the last year. I’ve learned a ton about beer from both you and Nate … couldn’t have done it without you.

And yes, I do plan on doing some “deep sea diving.” Consider me “hooked!”

I always love watching people new to craft beer take up homebrewing. I have had a few friends who go into the hobby becasue of what I was doing. Some have stayed with it while others have stopped and others who do it much more than I ever have.
