We love beer, we thank heaven. Begrudgingly, we admit we are not the authority on all things "beer," but we know our fair share. Enjoy the good brew with us; correct us where we're wrong.

I had every intention of playing along this time around, but it's just not in the cards. Between sinuses and my garlic loaded dinner, I can't review my new beer with any kind of justice. It was Sun King's Dominator Dopplebock. Looked very pretty, just like all of their beers do, and smelled of figs and rich toffee. Taste mostly followed along, with a rich malty flavor that was quite enjoyable. Let it warm up and enjoy!

I have a brew from Teton Brewing that is made in Victor, Idaho. It is perhaps one of the most scenic breweries in the world! Sits right at the base of the Grand Teton Mountain range, and they have brewed some pretty good stuff. I have one of their cauldron Stouts. Should be good.

That's a great idea - sometimes people forget to check out their own local beer scene because there's so much other stuff to focus on. New Jersey gets a bad rap for a lot of things, but we actually have a fairly vibrant craft-beer scene. I make it a point to buy Jersey-made beers from time to time and have found some real winners in the process! Everybody should try and support their local small breweries.
