This week, if you wish to participate in our weekly Sip It With Us Saturday weekly community beer tasting, you’ll be pruchasing Shipyard’s Export Ale.
In the past we’ve delved into Shipyard product when we sipped on Old Thumper (formerly by Ringwood Brewery). Old Thumper fared well, 3 out of five stars–we shall see how the Export does!
Export is a Shipyard standard, available year round. It is an American Pale ale, weighing in at 5.1%. This beer should be pretty easy to find, which is partly why we chose this beer for Saturday…we are eager for participation! Shipyard is Maine’s largest brewer, and has experienced relative success.
I haven’t had this one but Shipyard’s Chamberlain Pale Ale is really good.
