We love beer, we thank heaven. Begrudgingly, we admit we are not the authority on all things "beer," but we know our fair share. Enjoy the good brew with us; correct us where we're wrong.

Scott,

I do name my brews. The most recent one that I brewed was an Oatmeal Stout. My little brother was supposed to be up and helping me brew, but he got up too late. So, I named my beer "Flakey Boy Oatmeal Stout".

I just posted the first one. I'm hoping that people feel the way that you do about it. We will be posting one article a day, so that everybody can get an opportunity to think about and work through an article without having to feel like they are being rushed.

I name my brews Scott...if only for me. I bottled a batch of Hefeweizen 2 weeks ago, and a batch of imperial pilsner/IPA saturday. both need names.

My batch before that...a red ale, I name "Bob's Broken Back Ale," since I brewed it after a sledding accident in which my Dad (whose name is Bob) broke his back (but recovered!)
