I totally agree with you Big Tex. Wheat is a wonderful beer to start with, especially for some of the ladies out there. One other thing that I didn’t mention in my post is the power of analogy. When you find out what someone is interested in, you can make an analogy on that thing. For instance, if I’m around a guy/girl who has a Harley I ask them why they like that particular motor cycle. “Why not a Honda,” I might say. They will go into an explanation that is basically one of superior crafting…then I’ve got them. I’ll say, so it is with craft brews. Using an analogy that they can really get on board with is always a powerful way for me to get them thinking in those terms about beer.
