We love beer, we thank heaven. Begrudgingly, we admit we are not the authority on all things "beer," but we know our fair share. Enjoy the good brew with us; correct us where we're wrong.

Jake- Cool! I'll have to try it some time. If you like brandy, try to get some Angel's Share from the Lost Abbey. They aged it in Brandy or Bourbon...depending on the bottle you get. That sounds right up your alley. Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again soon.

I just discovered Ararat Armenian Brandy to go with cigars. Freakin amazing. Apparently it was a favorite of Winston Churchill's to have with his smokes.

I know what you mean about smokers smoking anything. Its rough to not know whether or not it will set you to smoking again. I guess that does leave more time to drink beer. As far as cigars go, it depends on my mood. Sometimes I like bold with bold or light with bold. I've said before that compliment and contrast are two ways to explore stuff like this...and food too.

I used to adore a good smoke with beer. Generally, it was IPA or brown ale, but anything skunky goes good with cigars as well. I don't smoke anything heavy with food or drink. Only light wrapper smokes like a medium gauge Davidoff..You want an oily wrapper and a smooth locamotive-type easy smoke that's not too spicy. Save all the fancy flavors for the beer and keep the smoke simple. That's what I always did. I did it with Nate behind the bar at Rubys sometimes but I'd smoke that little bar up too bad so I usually saved it for later...
Now I'm afraid to smoke at all, since I quit the cig's about 4 yrs. ago, maybe 5, can't remember anymore...

How cool! I was just sitting here reading while smoking a great cigar with a bavarian style dark wheat. Whiskey is too rough, champagne cost too much, I like beer! Ha! I don't know where I heard that. Anyway, great site Man!

I did see a search on here for a good bourbon to have with a cigar. For my money, I don't think anything beats George T. Stagg as a Bourbon. Nothing even comes close to this.
