We love beer, we thank heaven. Begrudgingly, we admit we are not the authority on all things "beer," but we know our fair share. Enjoy the good brew with us; correct us where we're wrong.

I have been well. Not as busy (bored, actually) since the semester ended. Plus, I've been off work for about two weeks. Our annual holiday shutdown has been longer than usual, so I'm bouncing off the walls.

The beer was most excellent. Funny story, though. When I first got the bottle, I couldn't remember the address of this blog, so I did a search. I found a blog that reviewed Three Philosophers, thought it was yours with a new look, and left a comment about us needing to get together and imbibing some over the weekend. I thought nothing of it until today when I wanted to link to the review for a post. Found the site, and a funny comment from the writer about how he usually doesn't meet up with commenters he doesn't know. Awkward. So I went searching and found your site. Whew!

I am going to drink that beer again, that's for sure.

Hey Brian!
Good to hear from you! I haven't been blogging much. I'd like to say I've been busy (i have) but that's never an excuse. Great beer to ring in the new year--I hope you enjoyed it. I rang in the new year with several beers at a local pub, but they didn't have anything as tasty as 3 Philosophers.
How have you been?

Nate...nice review. We've had Duvel, but did you know that Three Philosophers is in the same company as Duvel? It might even say so on the bottle. I've had this beer recently and enjoy it. The company makes good beers. If anyone wants to try other beers of theirs, their Chocolate Indulgence is a nice lighter version of a Stout.
